Peach Crumble image

I like to whip up this litle dessert when I don't have time to roll out a pie dough. You could use any canned fruit or pie filling that you prefer.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can(s) (29 oz) sliced peaches, drained
1 tsp lemon zest
1 1/4 c pie crust mix
3/4 c brown sugar, packed
1/4 stick butter (do not subsitute)
whipped topping or ice cream for garish

Steps:

  • 1. Place peaches in an 8 x 8 " baking pan. Add lemon zest.
  • 2. In a small bowl, crumble pie crust mix and brown sugar together; mix well.
  • 3. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture evenly over peaches and dot with butter.
  • 4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
