Steps:
- Start water to boil for pasta, then heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a saute pan on medium until fragrant, add garlic to 1 tbsp of water then add to heated oil, once water evaporates stir in tomatoes. Let simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Add basil,salt, sugar, pepper flakes and pepper. Allow sauce to simmer for 10-15 more minutes. Add pasta to water and cook al dente, drain. IStir drained tuna into the tomato sauce then add well-drained pasta directly to pan. Toss to coat. Garnish with freshly grated cheese and capers.
