This kugel is a classic for a reason. It's easy to make, delicious, and always a crowd-pleaser. I love the addition of the schmaltz, which gives it a rich flavor.

This kugel was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would reduce the amount of sugar next time. Otherwise, it was a good recipe and the kugel turned out nicely.

This kugel was a disappointment. It was bland and the texture was mushy. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong.

I'm not usually a fan of kugel, but this recipe changed my mind. The potatoes were so soft and fluffy, and the crust was perfectly crispy. I loved the addition of the onions and carrots, too. This is definitely a recipe I'll be making again.
