Overnight Oatmeal in a Jar image

Saw this posted on Facebook and was intrigued so decided to give it a try. I was amazed at how simple and how good it is. This lends itself to so many different combinations. I've listed as it was posted but left out the banana and blueberries as didn't have it, added 1 teaspoon of vanilla and topped with walnuts. For those mornings when you know you'll be in a hurry, here's a breakfast that can be waiting in your fridge. The prep time does not include refrigeration overnight

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my oats came out really watery. I think I might have added too much milk.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover fruit. I always have a few berries or bananas that are about to go bad, so I just throw them in my overnight oats.

I'm not a big fan of oatmeal, but this recipe was actually really good! The chia seeds add a nice texture and the almond milk makes it really creamy.

Great recipe! I made a few substitutions based on what I had on hand and it turned out great. I used almond milk instead of regular milk and added some chopped walnuts.

I've tried many overnight oat recipes, but this one is definitely my favorite. The chia seeds add a nice texture and the almond milk gives it a creamy consistency.
