Categories     Pork     Side     Bake     Quick & Easy

Number Of Ingredients 1

1-pound package of bacon strips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover large sheet pan with heavy duty foil. If pan does not have edges, crimp the foil to create some. The edges of the pan are essential and will serve to contain the liquid grease as the bacon cooks. Lay bacon strips onto the sheet. The strips can be crowded together or slightly overlapping. Place bacon onto center rack. Check bacon after 15 min. for doneness. If more crispness is desired, bake for an additional 5 min, but check frequently at this point. Remove from oven and lay bacon onto paper towels to remove excess fat. Reuse these paper towels after the bacon is finished by placing them on top of the foil to help absorb the grease left on the sheet. Roll up foil and paper towels and toss.

This recipe is awesome! I used to hate cooking bacon because it was always such a mess. But now I just throw it in the oven and let it do its thing. It's so easy and the bacon is always perfect.

I'm not a big fan of bacon, but I tried this recipe and I was pleasantly surprised. The bacon was crispy and flavorful, and it didn't have that greasy aftertaste that I usually get from bacon. I'll definitely be making this again.

This is my favorite way to cook bacon. It's so easy and the bacon always turns out crispy and delicious. I like to use a little bit of brown sugar on the bacon before I cook it. It gives it a nice sweet and smoky flavor.

I love this recipe! It's so easy to make and the bacon is always perfect. I like to use thick-cut bacon, and I cook it for about 18 minutes. It comes out crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.

This recipe is a game-changer! I used to fry bacon in a pan, but now I'll never go back. Oven-fried bacon is so much easier and the results are amazing. The bacon is crispy and flavorful, and it doesn't splatter all over my stovetop.
