Steps:
- Put butter in a 15x10x1 inch pan and melt in a hot oven - 400F. Mix next 3 ingredients and sprinkle evenly over the mixture, soaking well. Mix the eggs and the orange juice. Dip both sides of the bread in the egg mixture and arrange evenly in the pan, spooning any remaining mixture on the bread. Bake at 400F for 25 minutes. Let stand 1 minute, then lift out, turning sugar side up onto a hot platter.
