Orange Lettuce Salad image

1 cup mandarin orange, drained
1/2 head lettuce, cut up
1 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup oil
2 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Combine salad ingredients 1-2 hours before serving.
  • Make dressing up to a day ahead or as close as 20 minutes before serving.
  • Pour dressing over salad and toss lightly.
  • Serve immediately.
