In November of 2002 I had surgery. I had a friend make these for me for Thanksgiving. They were about the only thing I could handle. These are so delish!! They are warm, sweet, buttery and gooey!! Can be eaten warm with ice cream!!

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 pkg grands flakey layers butter tastin' biscuits
1 c butter
2 c sugar
2 oranges, juiced & zested

Steps:

  • 1. Spray a 9x13 pan with pam. Place all but 1 (you can add it if you want to but I like uniformity) biscuit in pan.
  • 2. In a medium microwavable dish, melt butter. Juice and zest both oranges.
  • 3. To the melted butter, add the sugar, juice and zest. Stir well and pour over the top of the biscuits. The biscuits will float a little but that is okay.
  • 4. Bake at 375* for 25-30 minutes. The tops should be nice and golden and the bottom of the biscuits should soak up the liquid. There should not be any raw dough on the bottom of the biscuits.

These biscuits were a huge hit at my brunch party! Everyone loved the orange flavor. They're also really easy to make, which is a bonus.

Meh. They were okay, but I've had better.

These are the best orange biscuits I've ever had! They're so light and fluffy, and the orange flavor is just perfect. I will definitely be making these again and again.

Not bad, but not great. The biscuits were a bit too dense for my taste.

These biscuits are a great way to use up leftover oranges. They're easy to make and taste delicious. I love the orange glaze on top. It adds a bit of sweetness and crunch.

Delicious! The orange flavor is subtle but present. Perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.

Disappointed. The biscuits were dry and lacked orange flavor. Might have been my fault for using a different type of orange.

These biscuits were a hit! They were light and fluffy, with just the right amount of orange flavor. I added a bit of cinnamon sugar on top before baking for an extra touch of sweetness. Highly recommend!

These orange biscuits were a delightful treat! The zesty orange flavor perfectly complemented the sweet biscuit dough. They were easy to make and turned out beautifully golden brown. Served them warm with butter and honey for a perfect breakfast.
