Categories     Cheese     Appetizer     No-Cook

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 BAG (16 OZ.) FROZEN, CHOPPED ONIONS
3 BOXES (8 OZ.) CREAM CHEESE
½ CUP MAYONNAISE
1 JAR (ABOUT 2 CUPS) PARMESAN CHEESE

Steps:

  • THAW AND DRAIN ONIONS. COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS IN A LARGE BOWL AND MIX WITH A BLENDER OR FOOD PROCESSOR. SPOON INTO A BAKING DISH (CORNINGWARE OR PYREX) AND BAKE AT 400 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES (15 MINUTES IF YOU HAVE A CONVECTION OVEN). REGARDLESS, COOK UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED AND JUST BEGINNING TO BUBBLE. I USE AN ABSORBENT PAPER TOWEL TO SOAK UP ANY SURFACE OIL (FROM THE MAYONNAISE) OFF THE TOP BEFORE SERVING. SERVE HOT WITH CORN CHIPS. THE LARGER FRITOES SCOOPS WORK BEST.

This soufflé was a disaster! It didn't rise at all and it was very dense.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my soufflé didn't turn out as well as I expected. It was a little flat and it didn't have much flavor.

This soufflé is a great way to use up leftover onions. I had some leftover onions from making a soup and I decided to try this recipe. The soufflé was delicious and it was a great way to use up my leftovers.

I'm not a big fan of onions, but this soufflé was amazing! The onions were cooked down so well that they were almost sweet. The soufflé was also very light and fluffy. I would definitely recommend this recipe.

This soufflé was absolutely delicious! I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfectly. The onions were caramelized to perfection and the soufflé was light and fluffy. I served it with a side salad and it was a hit with my family and friend
