I don't remember where I got this recipe but it's very good! Prep time does not include time in the bread machine and cooking time is only the bake time.

Categories     Yeast Breads

Time 45m

Yield 12 rolls

Number Of Ingredients 10

2/3 cup water
1 egg
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons sugar
2/3 cup cottage cheese
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 tablespoon dill
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients in bread machine in order suggested by manufacturer, select dough setting and press start. When complete, turn off the bread machine, remove dough, and turn out onto a floured countertop or cutting board. Gently roll and stretch dough into an 18 inch rope.
  • Grease 9x13 pan. With a sharp knife, divide dough into 12 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball. Place in pan.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm oven 10 minutes (to warm oven slightly, turn oven on warm setting for 2 minutes, then turn off and place covered rolls in oven to rise. Remove pan from oven to preheat).
  • Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Bake 25-30 minutes until lightly browned on top. Remove from oven, cut apart, and serve warm.

These rolls are really good, but they're a lot of work. I'm not sure if I'll make them again.

I thought these rolls were a little too dry. I think I'll add some extra butter or oil next time.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my rolls turned out really dense. They were still tasty, but they weren't as fluffy as I was hoping for.

I'm not a big fan of dill, but I really liked these rolls. The onion flavor is really strong and it balances out the dill.

I've made these rolls several times now and they always turn out perfect. They're so soft and fluffy, and the onion and dill flavor is just right. I love to serve them with butter and honey.

These onion dill pan rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make bread machine recipe. The rolls are soft and fluffy, with a slightly crispy crust. The onion and dill add a nice flavor. I will definitely be making these again!
