One Skillet Spaghetti image

I found this skillet recipe on TasteOfHome.com; delicious and very quick & easy!

1 lb ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped
1 (7 oz.) pkg spaghetti
2 (28 oz.) can(s) diced tomatoes, undrained
3/4 c chopped green pepper
1/2 c water
1 (8 oz.) can(s) sliced mushrooms
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1 c (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. In a large skillet, cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink then drain.
  • 2. Stir in uncooked spaghetti and the next seven ingredients; bring to a boil; reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until spaghetti is tender.
  • 3. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and heat until melted.
