OLD FASHIONED OATMEAL COOKIES image

This was my Mothers recipe. Delicious and chewy. I made these for my children. Also very healthy.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter, softened
2 large eggs
1/2 c milk
1 tsp baking soda
2 c flour
2 c rolled oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c raisins
2 tsp baking powder

Steps:

  • 1. Add baking soda to the milk and lightly stir. Set aside
  • 2. Blend brown sugar and softened butter
  • 3. Add eggs and blend well
  • 4. Add flour and milk alternately. Add cinnamon and baking powder.
  • 5. Mix in oats and raisins with a spoon. Mix until all is combined.
