Old Fashioned Cherry Cobbler image

This is a wonderful comfort treat! I live in Maine and have plenty of cold winter nights to try out lots of baked goodies...we substitute with blueberry and find it is just as yummy. Enjoy :)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 c all purpose flour
1/3 c sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
2 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened
2/3 c undiluted evaporated milk
1 3/4 c cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, butter and evaporated milk; mix well. Spread batter into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Spread cherry pie filling over the batter. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
