This recipe was in a Family Circle magazine back in 2009 and was from Margaret Grubb, North Charleston, SC. It's a keeper.

These bars are so easy to make, even a beginner baker can handle them. I'm definitely going to be making them again soon.

I had some trouble getting the bars to set properly. I think I might have overcooked them a bit. But they still tasted good, so I'm not too disappointed.

These bars were a little too sweet for my taste, but they were still good. I think I'll try them again with a little less sugar next time.

These butterscotch bars were a hit! They were so easy to make and turned out perfectly. The flavor was spot-on and the texture was chewy and gooey, just like I like them.
