Steps:
- 1. cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. 2. Sift Dry ingredients. 3. Add dry ingredients to butter/sugar mixture. 4. Add oatmeal and nuts; mix well. 5. Shape into long rolls; warp in wax paper and chill thoroughly. 6. Slice 1/4 inch thick cookies. 7. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in oven at 350 degree for 10 minutes.
