Oatmeal Applesauce Cookies image

In 2005 I had back surgery. My Mom came for a week to watch the kids/take care of the house. She made these for the boys and they devoured them she said. I don't know how many these make. I know at least 3 dozen - so that is the amount I will put. Okay - I have tried at least 2 different times to edit this recipe on the directions. More than one person has wanted to make it so I will finish the directions here! :) Basically - mix all ingredients very well in large bowl. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 11 minutes. If you like them crunchy - let them bake a bit longer. Enjoy!

These cookies were a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would reduce the amount of sugar next time. Otherwise, they were good.

These cookies were a bit dry for my taste. I think I would add an extra egg yolk next time to make them more moist. Otherwise, the flavor was good.
