NOVA SCOTIA MOCK CHERRY PIE image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 Cup Fresh Canrberries
1/2 Cup Dark Raisins
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 TBSP. Flour
1/2 Cup Water
1/4 tsp. Vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Steps:

  • Place the first 7 ingredients in a pan mix well, and cook over low heat until just tender. (cranberries will pop) Add 1 TBSP. Vanilla and mix. Place in unbaked pie shell, and top with a round or with ribbons or pastry. Bake in moderate oven about 300 until pastry is golden brown. Approx. 30 minutes. Depending on your oven.
