4 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup irish cream
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter, melted
8 -10 slices raisin bread
butter (for frying)
cinnamon (optional)

Steps:

  • Beat eggs, milk, liqueur, sugar, vanilla, and butter in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Dip bread quickly into egg mixture, and pan fry in hot butter until golden brown on both sides.
  • Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon, if desired.
  • Serve hot with syrup.
  • Makes about 4 servings.

This was a disaster! The bread was soggy and the cinnamon sugar topping was too thick. I won't be making this again.
