No Crust Apple Pie image

This is really easy to make and even people that love traditional apple pie love it.

Number Of Ingredients 8

apples (peeled and sliced)
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c chopped nuts
3/4 c butter or margerine
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 c all purpose flour
1 dash(es) salt

Steps:

  • 1. Fill pie plate 3/4 full with apple slices.
  • 2. Mix cinnamon with nuts and sprinkle over apples.
  • 3. In saucepan melt butter. Remove from heat.
  • 4. Add sugar and stir.
  • 5. Add egg, flour, and salt. Mix well.
  • 6. Pour evenly over apples.
  • 7. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
