Nanny's Goulash image

This is my grandmother's recipe she invented back when times were tight. You can add more mushrooms and yellow squash to it. Serve over rice or egg noodles.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my goulash turned out really bland. Maybe I didn't use enough paprika.

The goulash was a bit too spicy for my taste, but I was able to tone it down by adding some sour cream. Otherwise, it was a great recipe.

This goulash was a hit with my family! The flavors were rich and complex, and the beef was incredibly tender. I will definitely be making this again.
