Mum's Chow Mein Cookies image

These are also called bird nests and haystacks. Great little treats. These are very rich and typically only made at Christmas.

Number Of Ingredients 2

1 small bag each of peanut butter chips and butterscotch chips (substitute chocolate chips in place of either)
5 oz can of chow mein noodles

Steps:

  • 1. Combine both bags of chips and heat on high in microwave bowl about 2-3 minutes. Just long enough to melt. DO NOT heat too long, the chips can and will burn.
  • 2. Add entire can of noodles and mix well. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool.
