Steps:
- Wash lemons. Zest lemons. In pot mix sugar and cornstarch well. Slowly add water and mix well. Add beaten egg yolks. Bring to a rolling boil , lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add lemon juice and zest. cool slightly. add to baked pie shell. Make meringue by frothing egg whites while adding cream of tarter and sugar. Beat until peaks form. Bake at 350 for 15 to 18 minute
