This is a simple dessert that is a great way to use fresh blueberries. Mom could stir this up in a hurry on a busy day. And it is so good.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 inch square pan. Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, butter, and milk.Beat until smooth and creamy. Add egg and beat again until well combined. Fold in blueberries and pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar over batter. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch. Great served warm.
- 2. OPTIONAL: If desired serve with lemon curd on top.
