These are a holiday favorite of mine. My Mom would make these for Christmas parties. Now, I make these to put in goody tins.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/3 c peanut butter
12 oz pkg butterscotch chips
6 1/2 oz can of cocktail peanuts
3 c cornflakes

Steps:

  • 1. Melt chips and peanut butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Add cornflakes and peanuts. Drop on wax paper and refrigerate.
  • 2. Note: You can substitute the nuts and cornflakes with 3 ounces of chow mein noodles and 1 cup marshmallows. This is the way I prepare it.

I used a different kind of chocolate chips than what was called for in the recipe and they turned out great.

I'm allergic to nuts, so I omitted them from the recipe. They were still delicious.

These are a great make-ahead snack. I made a batch on Sunday and they were still fresh and delicious on Wednesday.

I'm not a big fan of butterscotch, but these clusters were surprisingly good. The chocolate and nuts balance out the sweetness of the butterscotch.

These butterscotch clusters were a hit! They were easy to make and turned out perfectly. I used semisweet chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate chips and they were still delicious.
