Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Measure flour into a mixing bowl. Cut shortening into flour with wooden spoon until thoroughly cut in. Add buttermilk in small amounts folding and stirring until dough holds together but is not "soupy" or overly wet. Roll dough out onto a generous dusting of flour. Turn dough over a few times, and then pat into a circle of about 6"-8". Cut with biscuit cutter. Makes about 8 biscuits Place into a pan coated in oil and flip over so the biscuits are coated with oil. Place in hot oven (about 450 degrees) and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned top and bottom.
