MOM'S BBQ SAUCE image

1/3 cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp chili powder
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 cup Orange Liqueur or Juice

Steps:

  • Stir everything together in a saucepan except the O.J. Add 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Then add the O.J., simmer for 5 more minutes.
