Steps:
- 1. Cream shortening and sugar.
- 2. Add eggs.
- 3. Sift dry ingredients together and add a little at a time. Mix well.
- 4. Add bananas, buttermilk and vanilla
- 5. Bake in cake pans or loaf pans at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
