My momma used to make these pretty often. She had to make them while we were off somewhere, either working or playing. If she didn't, there wouldn't be any left for anyone else, when she got through making them. Sometimes, she would make them for church dinners. I remember, we never brought any home.

- 1. Melt butter. Add sugar, salt, cocoa, and, cream.
- 2. Bring to a boil and add vanilla. Remove from heat. Cream in peanut butter. Then, add oatmeal.
- 3. Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper. Let cool and enjoy.
