Rice(Cups) 1 2 3
Water(Cups)1 2 3
1/2 cup uncooked rice = 1 serving
(About 1 cup of cooked rice.)
If desired, add butter or margerine and salt to taste

Steps:

  • SAUCEPAN: 1. Bring water to a boil. (add butter or margerine and salt to taste) 2. Stir in rice;cover. Remove from heat. 3. Let stand 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork. MICROWAVE: 1. Place water and rice in microwave bowl.(add butter or margerine and salt to taste) 2. Cover. Microwave on high. MICROWAVE COOK TIMES: SERVINGS: 2 4 6 MINUTES: 6 8 10 3. Let stand 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork. Microwaves vary. Cooking times are approximate.
