Mini Meat Loaves image

These flavorful little loaves are a hit with children and adults alike. The topping is the key to a different, zesty tasting meatloaf.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon basil
1 lb ground beef
2/3 cup catsup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350*.
  • Beat egg and milk; stir in the next 7 ingredients.
  • Add beef and mix well.
  • Shap into 8 mini loaves.
  • Place in greased baking dish.
  • Mix catsup, brown sugar, and mustard.
  • Spoon over loaves.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes, or until meat is done.
