Microwave Pralines image

This is a favorite with my family...Seems like I can't ever make enough...They are good to give as gifts are just to keep on hand for guests...I hope you will enjoy...Caution...Don't try to make these on a damp humid day. They just want harden up if you do.

Number Of Ingredients 5

3/4 c whole buttermilk
2 c granulated sugar
1/8 tsp salt
2 c coarsley chopped pecans
1 tsp soda

Steps:

  • 1. Add all ingredients into a large microwave safe bowl, except for the soda. Cook on high power for 12 minutes total, stirring after every four minutes.
  • 2. Stir in the baking soda and mix well. Cook on high for an addition minute. Beat mixture for a minute until it becomes tacky. Drop by Tablespoon onto parchment paper or non-stick foil.
