Mexican Beef and Bean Casserole image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 pound lean ground beef
2 (15-ounce) cans pinto beans, drained
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup mild chunky salsa
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (4 ounces)

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 375°.2. Cook beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown drain.3. Mix beef, beans, tomato sauce, salsa and chili powder in ungreased 2-quart casserole.4. Cover and bake 40 to 45 minutes, stirring once or twice, until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with cheese.
