Meat & Potato Patties for Dogs image

These patties provide nutrition similar to a meal. For dogs counting calories, you can reduce meal size and feed part of the daily ration as treats. Portion size: For small dogs, 1 patty; for medium dogs, 2 patties; for large dogs, 4 patties

Number Of Ingredients 4

6 ounces ground beef or 6 ounces chicken
1/2 cup carrot, grated
1 cup instant potato flakes
4 tablespoons powdered milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Puree the meat and carrots in a food processor until smooth.
  • Thoroughly mix all the ingredients together.
  • Roll into small balls, press into patties, and bake for 15 minutes or until firm.
  • The patties will keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Freezing is not recommended.
