My favorite kind of oatmeal cookies are from McDonald's. I know, random right? They have the perfect texture and I wanted to find a recipe that taste like them. 1 c butter, softened
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 c rolled oats
1 c raisins
1 c crushed toffee bits

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl or mixer, cream together the butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a time and beat, then add vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Gradually add into wet mix. Blend oatmeal, Raisins and toffee bits.
  • 2. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes (oven time will vary based on size).
  • 3. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack.
