1/2 cup maui onions or 1/2 cup other sweet onion, chopped
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup papaya seeds (optional)
2/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 cup vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Combine the onion, garlic and papaya seeds in the container of a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Add the sugar, mustard, lemon juice, vinegar and mayonnaise; puree until blended inches Set to low speed and pour in the vegetable oil in a thin stream. Chill and serve with fresh salad greens.
