Marlene's Chicken Waldorf Salad image

A delicious version of a classic recipe! Make sure the apples and grapes are sweet. Halve the grapes if they are very large. This salad recipe is much requested by those to whom I have served it!

I'm not a fan of walnuts, so I used pecans instead. They worked great in this salad.

I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, so I used Greek yogurt in the dressing instead. It was still delicious!

The chicken in this salad was a bit dry. I think it would be better if it were cooked in a crock pot or slow cooker.

This salad was a bit too sweet for my taste. I would recommend using less sugar in the dressing.

I followed the recipe exactly and the salad turned out great. The chicken was moist and flavorful, and the dressing was creamy and tangy. I would definitely recommend this recipe.
