MARBLE SQUARES image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 cup oleo
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 6 oz. package chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Mix oleo, sugars and vanilla. Beat in egg, flour, baking soda, salt and nuts. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the dough. Place in oven 1 minute. Remove and run knofe through to marbelize. Return to oven and bake 12-14 minutes at 375 degrees. Cut into squares.

These marble squares were a hit! They were so easy to make. The only change I made was to use semisweet chocolate chips instead of dark chocolate chips because my kids prefer semisweet. They turned out perfectly and everyone loved them!
