Maple Walnut Vinaigrette image

Maple, walnuts and a touch of walnut oil add a traditional and warm French flavor to this simple vinaigrette.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 c walnuts, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely minced
2 tsp shallots, minced
1/4 c sherry vinegar
1/4 c maple syrup
1/2 c apple cider vinegar
1/4 c walnut oil
1 1/3 c olive oil
1/8 tsp ground pepper
1/4 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients in a jar and shake well. OR
  • 2. Place all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until emulsified.
