Manhattan Kir Royale image

France's famous kir royale (black-currant liqueur and Champagne) meets the Manhattan, a classic cocktail of whiskey, vermouth, and bitters. Serve with Rosemary-Caramel Popcorn.

1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1 teaspoon creme de cassis
Splash of Angostura bitters
4 ounces chilled Champagne
Garnish: white currants

Steps:

  • Combine vermouth, cremede cassis, and bitters in aChampagne coupe or flute.Top with Champagne.Garnish with currants.
