MAKE AHEAD FRENCH TOAST image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 Cup ( 1 stick) butter
1 Cup packed brown sugar
1 Loaf French Bread, sliced 2 inches thick
6 eggs
1 1/2 Cups whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Steps:

  • Heat butter and brown sugar in saucepan until the butter melts, stirring constantly. Pour in 9x13 baking dish. Arrange bread on top of butter/sugar mixture Combine eggs, cream, vanilla and spices in bowl. Pour over bread, soaking each slice. Chill covered for 8-12 hours Bake uncovered 350 for 30 min Remove from oven and flip the bread slices onto each serving plate.
