Apple Glaze:
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) cold butter
Batter:
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk (whole milk is preferred)
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Garnish:
Powdered sugar
Whipped Cream

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the apple slices in an oven-proof 10-inch nonstick sauté pan. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over top. Sauté over medium low heat until apples are slightly soft, about 3 to 5 minutes.
