Macaroni with Beef and Beans image

My family enjoys this dish as an alternative to plain macaroni and cheese. Every summer and fall, I freeze lots of beans, as well as corn, carrots, green peppers and pumpkins, and I also make many varieties of pickles.-Debbie Hagen, Mayville, North Dakota

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover beef. I always have some leftover roast beef or steak in the fridge, and this is a great way to use it up.

I was hesitant to try this recipe because I'm not a big fan of beans. But I was pleasantly surprised! The beans added a nice flavor and texture to the dish.
