- Peel pears and run through a food chopper using the medium blade.
- Add to sugar and salt.
- Add crushed pineapple and juice and bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the fruit fresh and cook on medium.
- Boil for 20 minutes.
- Makes 8 pints.
