Low-Carb Crock Pot

This was an experiment (anyone low-carbing understands all the exeriments you try). It turned out to be one of my favorite foods once it is all done. If you follow the directions exactly, it will be pretty spicy. To cut down on the spicyness, leave out the habanero sauce.

This gumbo was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. I probably won't make it again.

I was not impressed with this gumbo. The chicken was dry and the sauce was too salty. I would not recommend this recipe.

This gumbo was a little too spicy for my taste, but my husband loved it. I'll definitely be making it again, but I'll use less cayenne pepper next time.

I've made this gumbo several times now, and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The low-carb version is just as good as the traditional version, and it's so much healthier.

This gumbo was a hit with my family! It was so easy to make in the crock pot, and the flavors were amazing. I especially loved the addition of the okra and sausage.
