Louisiana-Style Smothered Pork Chops image

What a tasty and easy pork chop recipe. Smoky sausage alongside the Louisiana-style veggies really gives this dish a great flavor. Make sure to use a good smoked sausage, similar to andouille, for flavor. The pork chops are tender and melt-in-your-mouth good. Serve over rice with a couple of shakes of hot sauce and green onion...

4 oz smoked sausage, chopped
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt

The pork chops were a little dry, but the gravy was amazing. I'll definitely try this recipe again, but I'll cook the pork chops for a shorter amount of time.

I've tried many smothered pork chop recipes, but this one is by far the best. The addition of the Creole seasoning really makes it special.
