Yield 8 - 10

Number Of Ingredients 7

Fresh salmon filet; no bones
Hawaiian or Rock salt, enough to cover salmon for soaking overnight approximately 1/2 cup
Cherry tomatos one cup
Green onions, one bunch
One lime, halved
Fresh cilantro
Avacodo, toasted pita bread or crackers

Steps:

  • Perhaps one of the easiest dishes to prepare but one that looks and tastes like hours were involved! Place salmon in glass dish, cover completely with Hawaiian salt and refrigerate overnight. Drain salmon in the morning and pat dry - do not rinse. Dice salmon and place in favorite serving bowl. Chop tomato, green onions, placing on salmon. Sqeeze juice from half of the lime, removing seeds. Cover salmon mixture; placing freshly chopped cilantro on top. Refrigerate 3 hours before serving. Serve with avacado slices, sesame crackers or toasted pita bread...can be eaten with or without these sides!

This recipe is missing some key ingredients. It needs more salt and pepper, and I would also add some lemon juice.
