1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon lime juice
2 1/4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons grated lime peel
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon grated lime peel

  • Heat oven to 400°F (if using dark or nonstick cookie sheet, heat oven to 375°F). In medium bowl, beat butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and the lime juice with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Beat in flour, salt and 2 teaspoons lime peel.

I've tried many lime crescent recipes, but this one is by far the best. The cookies are always perfect and they're so easy to make.

I'm not a huge fan of lime, but I actually really enjoyed these cookies. The lime flavor is subtle and not overpowering.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my lime crescents didn't turn out as expected. They were too dry and crumbly.

These cookies are good, but I found them to be a bit too sweet for my taste.
