This is a great soup to make ahead of time. It tastes even better the next day. I usually make a big batch of it on the weekend, and then I have leftovers for lunch all week long.

I made this soup in my slow cooker, and it turned out perfectly. I just threw all of the ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning, and it was ready for dinner. It was so easy, and the soup was delicious.

This soup is a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. My kids love the lentils and peas, and they don't even realize that they're eating vegetables.

I'm not a fan of ham, so I used smoked turkey wings instead of ham hocks. It turned out great! The soup was still flavorful and hearty, but it didn't have the ham flavor that I don't like.

This is a great recipe for a budget-friendly meal. Lentils and peas are very inexpensive, and the ham hocks add a lot of flavor without being too expensive. This soup is a great way to feed a large family without breaking the bank.

This soup is a great way to use up leftover ham. I had some leftover ham from Easter, and I used it to make this soup. It turned out great! The soup was flavorful and hearty, and it was the perfect meal for a cold winter day.
