Steps:
- Rub the rim of an old fashioned glass with lemon wedge. Fill a saucer with sugar, and dip the glass, upside down, into the sugar.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add whiskey, lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon superfine sugar, and shake until sugar dissolves. Strain into an ice-filled old fashioned glass, and garnish with lemon slice and a cherry.
