I am a teacher born in Australia who came to the United States seven years ago via a teacher exchange program. I'm now married to an American with two beautiful children. This dessert is made often for special occasions in my mother country; when I make it for my teacher coworkers here in the U.S., it disappears fast!-Susan Fagan, Lexington, South Carolina

This recipe is not for beginners. It's very difficult to get the roulade to roll up without breaking.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my roulade didn't turn out right. It was too dense and didn't have much flavor.

This roulade was a bit dry, but the flavor was still good.

The chocolate ganache was a bit too thick for my liking, but the rest of the roulade was perfect.

This roulade was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was still very good. I think I would use less sugar next time.

This recipe was easy to follow and the roulade turned out beautifully. I used a store-bought sponge cake mix to save time, and it worked perfectly. The chocolate ganache was rich and decadent, and the whole thing was a real crowd-pleaser.

I'm not usually a fan of lamingtons, but this roulade changed my mind. The sponge was light and fluffy, and the raspberry jam filling was tart and sweet. I loved the way the chocolate ganache coated the whole thing.
